Mr. Pastore has over 25 years of experience as Principal Architect and Designer. His primary role is “principal in charge” of project development and design for a variety of the firm’s more complex architectural projects. Franco takes personal interest in the early stages of project planning and has been responsible for feasibility studies and the development of strategic master plans on various local and international projects. Franco has in-depth experience on many project types ranging from health care, institutional, educational, recreational, and residential. Franco is primarily responsible for overall project scoping, programming, design, schedule control and cost management. He also retains expertise in Barrier-Free, Accessible Design.

Mr. Pastore is also licensed in the state of Michigan and has performed numerous projects in the USA and across Canada.



Mrs. Biemann is a Consulting Engineer and is the Director of Engineering at IDEA Inc. She supervises a team of highly technical Engineers and Technologists. She has a broad range of engineering experience, including the design of institutional, commercial, recreational, industrial and residential systems.

Her strongest skills are in the areas of Integrated Design Process facilitation, project management and system conceptual design. She is a LEED accredited professional who has participated in reviewing and providing input on various projects to help improve their energy efficiency and overall sustainability.

Recently, Mrs. Biemann was awarded the Fellowship award from Engineers Canada for exceptional contributions to the profession of Engineering in Canada.


A. Sc.T, Technologist OAAAS

Mr. Oliver is IDEA’s Lead Technologist and Senior Project Coordinator. He brings 25 years of experience from a variety of Architectural firms across Northern Ontario. While his primary function with the firm is as Manager for the Production of Contract Documents and Senior Project Coordinator, his responsibilities also include assisting the design principals with conceptual design through to and including construction contract administration. He has extensive experience with both public and private sector type projects including health care, institutional, educational, recreational, and residential.

His extensive background in computer technology encompasses a wide range of design programs from AutoCAD, Revit and customized programs to suit our firm’s design process.



Mr. Crowle has wide-ranging involvement in the Design and Construction Industries. The majority of his experience and workload concentration is as a Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Mechanical & Electrical Systems Designer.

He has also worked extensively in the Commercial, Industrial and Residential construction industry as a tradesman and quantity surveyor. This combination has provided him with the unique insight required to properly evaluate and manage construction contracts.

Mr. Crowle’s responsibilities encompass the entire range of services offered by our firm, from the proposal stage through project management, design, tendering, project administration and post construction. He has extensive experience working for both the private and public sectors.
