This renovation of the Canadian Museum of History’s cafeteria and food services area included gutting the existing kitchen and opening up the dining area. The driving factors of the renovations were to update and refresh the look, to create a better traffic flow throughout the cafeteria, and to draw customers into the main area for spectacular views of the Ottawa River and Parliament Hill.

The project involved the removal of interior walls, installation of new kitchen, flooring, wall tiles, servery stations, lighting, millwork and a new, always-popular Beaver Tail kiosk.
