Four Seasons in Landscaping

Project Description

Clergue Park is located in the City’s downtown core. It is a focal point for leisure activities to the community and surrounding residential developments. The program calls for parks, gardens, an amphitheater, water feature, a sailing school and future expansion for the Library and Art Gallery of Algoma. The ‘four seasons’ is used as a conceptual framework for the 4 gardens. Water from the St. Mary’s River has been diverted through the site forming a canal that will be used as an outdoor skating rink during the winter. The proposed building will house the community uses plus those for the Regional Cadet Sailing School.
