Our clients came to us after a fire destroyed the interior of their 2,400 sf concrete block home on Rockhurst Road. The design and construction had to be completed quickly in order for them to move back into their renovated home within the allowance of time provided by the insurance company.

The renovated and expanded home has new generously sized rooms and spaces with a more functional flow and organization within the house. The ground floor plan was completely changed from the existing layout to accommodate a more open floor area and large kitchen with views to the main living areas. A mud room that links the family room with the finished basement theatre continues the custom cabinetry from the main floor kitchen space and provides abundant storage for keeping all the summer and winter gear. The landscaping was included in the design and many of the client selected materials throughout the home were environmentally sensitive, such as the reclaimed birch flooring and soy-based spray insulation for maximum energy efficiency.
